GOOGLE CLASSROOM TOOL IN EDUCATION

In order to  implement 21^st century environment, most teachers are eager to  use various of digital technology in the classroom. For this first entry, I use Google Classroom for my tool in teaching my students. This is my Physics Class which is Class 503 and we are doing some assignment on Wave Topic.

Introduction To Google Classroom

I introduce about Google Classroom to my Physic Students and I tell the advantages of this tool as we can discuss, chat and so on without any meeting. This is great tool and make easier for me if I am not in school or on leave. So I can attach any assignment or exercise in google classroom and ask my students to do the task during my class. Video & Diagram above show how I teach my students to join my Google Classroom and they need their own Gmail to log in and join my class using the Class Code iv3m50.

Teacher Is On Leave

On 28/10/2019, I am on leave and can not come to school, so I decide to give some assignment about Wave and my students need to check their google classroom for answer that assignment online. I inform them by uploading a video to give the information about assignment.

Alright...This is how I attach my assignment and they can freely chat, comment or whatever they can. They can ask me in this medium, so it is easier to me to teach even tough I am not in school. The second diagram show that students who already finish answering the question using Google Document, they need to Hand In to me so I can see that which students still not submit. In this diagram, I can see that only 5 students already submitted to me 😏

From diagram above, All students already submitted their Online Assignment using Google Document. After that, It is my task to check and give them their marks and grade. Left Side showing that their marks that they got from their assignments. If they want to get better marks, they can edit and submit again to me by Return In. Each students also can give some Private Comment to me if they are not satisfy with their marks or they do not understand about this assignment 😇

Students Feedback & Reaction

In my opinion, this Google Classroom tool is one of the best technology that teacher should use in learning. It is much easier and paperless. We could save our paper and we can save our time. This is the best tool for a discussion room between students and teacher especially if students are in school holiday. Students also can do everything in online. They could do assignment using Google Document, Google Excel, Google PowerPoint, & others. From this video, the feedback that I got from my students are excellent. My students like to use this tools because they told me that this is easier for them to do assignment during School Holiday and they do not need to bring too many homework paper in their bags. Lastly, THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS GOOGLE CLASSROOM IS BEST & AWESOME!!! 😎
