CLASS DOJO TOOL IN EDUCATION

In order to  implement 21^st century environment, most teachers are eager to  use various of digital technology in the classroom. For this first entry, I use Class Dojo for my tool in teaching my students. This is my Science Class which is Class 102 and we are doing some assignment on Reproduction.

Introduction To Class Dojo

I introduce about Class Dojo to my Science Students and I tell the advantages of this tool as we can discuss, chat and so on without any meeting. This tool is suitable for kids or primary school as this tools using avatars and colorful background to attract students. This is great tool and make easier for me if I am not in school or on leave. So I can attach any assignment or exercise in Class Dojo and ask my students to do the task during my class. Video above shows that I introduce how to use this tool and joining their class using Class Code. 

Students Joining My Google Classroom

Students joining their class that I have created and they need to choose their name based on attendance list. They also can edit their own avatars to be more attractive 😅 I have distributed them into six groups if they have group assignments.

Teacher Greets & Inviting Student's Parents

I greet my students and tell them that I will invite their parents to join this classroom as they can check and observe their children's portfolio, assignments, and feedback from teacher 👻

Teacher Giving Assignments

This my assignment which is about Reproduction of Plants. Students need to answer the question by online and need to submit to me. Diagram below show example of answer sheet from my student and I need to check his answer and if he get all corrects I will approve and if not, I will return back as draft and he need to do corrections 😝

Feedback,Toolkit, & Opinions

Diagram above show this tool has many toolkit. Teacher can checks attendance, plays music, uses timer for quiz or activity, uses random pick up to choose any students to answer any questions. Diagram above also show that teacher can give some feedback to their students. Teacher can chose the positive skills or need works. For me this tool is awesome and more fun for students as it is very attractive and students are more eager to learn and do activities 😊
